CHaD (Children Hospital at Dartmouth) Hero
Half Marathon Run
Thank you to all of our family and friends who sponsored Shawn, Nicole, Pierson & Arabelle. We were able to raise $480.00 in just 5 days for CHaD! All the monies go to the hospital and the families that use their services. CHaD is NH only children's hospital and a great resource to the region. As many of you know, Nicole and I visited Dartmouth on several occasions during Nicole's pregnancy with Pierson. Again, thank you everyone!
Pierson ran nearly the entire mile of the Cam's fun run, which was 1 mile long. Nicole, Pierson & Arabelle all participated in the 5K walk and finished just under an hour. Not due to their speed but the huge amounts of people. Shawn completed the half marathon in 1h 51m & 48s or 8m 33 second miles which was in the top 23% of finishers. There is always room to improve for next year. The day was very hot with 90 degree temperatures bearing down on the area - but all in all, we had a great day and believe it is all for a great cause!
